SECS/GEM
SECS is an acronym for Semiconductor Equipment Communication Standard.
GEM (Generic Model for Communications and Control of Manufacturing Equipment) is a standard developed by SEMI (Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International). The Host can collect measurement data, change process parameters, select recipes and send start or stop commands to equipment through SECS/GEM.
Developing a SECS/GEM driver from scratch is not easy, and understanding how these complex standards work and how to implement them into device controller software can be a challenge. Through our products, the team’s technical expertise and services over the years, your equipment can quickly be upgraded to have SECS/GEM communication functions without any SECS/GEM related experience.
